gregory de laura

having won awards in metalwork as early as high school, gregory de laura has worked as a fabricator for over 13 years. as an undergraduate, he discovered his passion for sculpture going on to receive a master of fine arts from the prestigious sculpture program at virginia commonwealth university. gregory's work has been shown in galleries throughout the east coast and his fabricating has ranged from fine furniture and restoration of artwork to industrial and structural applications. While his appearance can be intimidating, and he is heavily armed, greg is very sensitive and affected by changes in weather.

tracey stakelin

tracey's trademark has always been the use of diverse materials, themes and media in her work. she holds a bachelor's of fine arts from the university of kentucky and an mfa from virginia commonwealth. she is also a recipient of the international sculpture centre's graduate sculpture award. in the late 1990's tracey spent time in england and italy studying stone carving, foundry and photography. she's an accomplished mold maker and considered expert in metal finishes, resins, and the use strange chemicals in the creative process. tracey's sculpture and installations have been exhibited in galleries and public spaces throughout the united states and europe.

craig t. weiss (a.k.a. craig the woodworker)

without a doubt, craig weiss is a master woodworker, craftsman and artist. for over 18 years craig has been creating beautiful cabinetry, furniture, inlays, and carvings from the finest materials. mr. weiss started working in wood with his grandfather when he was in the seventh grade. since then he has won multiple awards for cabinet making and his work can be seen at locations around the world. delform is proud to have craig as its master cabinetmaker and will be featuring a detailed portfolio of his work on delformstudios.com in the near future.

jim wagner (a.k.a. junior sr.)

jim wagner is delform's master machinist. jim honed his skills over the past 35 years while working in the best tool & die and machine shops on the east coast. in the early days of cad/cam jim saw the future and embraced cnc machining technology. he has consistently produced precision work ranging from cameras to articulated prosthetics. recently jim's custom designs and fabrication of robotics were featured on 'lifestyles of the rich and famous' when they profiled jerry seinfeld's futuristic manhattan headquarters.

bilal khan

mathematics and computation: bilal is delform's advisor on matters pertaining to symmetry (group theory), geometry, topology, analysis, and formal logic. bilal has a fervent interest in the reification of mathematical truths and the delivery of physical proof. he is presently professor of mathematics and computer science at the city university of new york.

george t. de laura, jr.

software, graphics and sound designer: george has worked on projects ranging from embedded systems to 3D animation. he is delform's technical advisor and web master. george is currently a software architect at nbc network news and cnbc specializing in real-time graphics rendering and newsroom automation.
